A PROPHETIC JOURNEY

Shannon Pic

I learned early on in my journey of developing a culture that embraces the prophetic that prophetic words are not guarantees, but that they are Holy potentials that are spoken into our lives. In other words, the prophetic by its very nature calls us to partner with what God is saying about us.  A personal prophetic word makes a declaration about what God is calling us into.  For example; I continually marvel at some of the prophetic words that are given over some of our new converts to Christ or even some of our pre-Christians with regard to the amazing plans and purposes that God has for them.  If you were to simply judge the word on it’s current reality you would tend to think, wow that was a very inaccurate word. However, God declares over us through the voice of the prophetic what He sees and what He desires us to become.  He is concerned about the place that we are currently living (and he certainly is not winking at sin), but He knows that the best way to get us into our destiny is to call us into it.  Jeremiah 29:11, is one such example of how God views us.  He says,   “I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future.”  He is an amazing prospector.  He delights in calling out the gold in us while allowing the convicting work of Holy Spirit to contend with the dross.  That single value has completely reshaped the way that I look at prophetic ministry.  Anyone can look at the mess a person has made in their life and point out all of the junk.  It’s very easy to dig for junk, but God digs for treasure. We should too!  A personal prophetic word spoken into someone’s life speaks of who God says they are without stumbling over who they are not.  When people have an understanding of how much God loves them and what His desire is for them it will release an empowerment of the spirit of God to help them accomplish that word. However, it is also true that God is all about giving us choices.  We have a choice as to whether we are going to lean in and partner with a word given over our lives or not.  God speaks to our destiny, but he expects us to step into a place of action and faith to see it fleshed out.  Thus, my reasoning for believing that most personal words of prophecy are given to us as potentials and not as guarantees.  God loves to co-labor with his children, and He loves it when we press into the promises that He has declared over our lives. To that end, I have developed a serious passion about stewarding the words that God has given me or to our church.  I have recordings and transcriptions of words that have been spoken over us that go back some 25 years. I keep them close to me and accessible at all times, (wow do I love my iPhone).  This record serves two purposes for me.  One, it gives me a clear template about what God has been saying so that I can stay on track to pray and move into those God destiny’s and secondly, those prophetic words and decrees become my greatest source of encouragement in hours when pushing ahead sometimes seems futile in my own strength.  The bible speaks clearly of how David found it necessary to strengthen himself in the Lord.  Keeping prophetic words near me during times of weariness and discouragement has been a lifeline from heaven to keep me encouraged and engaged in my own calling and destiny.

So, as you read the prophetic words and decrees that follow on this website page my prayer is that you would be encouraged to partner with us for the destiny of this house.  But from a larger perspective I pray that as you read these declarations and prophetic potentials that faith would be birthed into your heart to believe God for His promises over our region and that faith would come fully alive for the promises of God over your life.

THE BLACKSMITH SHOP – God is joining zeal and wisdom!

By Bobby Conner

July 4, 2016

Recently, I’ve been reliving some of the events I’ve experienced in the past. I questioned, asking God, what this was about, why am I reliving these past experiences? He responded saying, I have need of them now. So I truly believe that something will be activated now, for all who will respond.

In a vivid prophetic experience, I was taken up into the spirit realm into the heavens to the door of what appeared to be a blacksmith’s shop. Standing there I was surrounded by shimmering swirling glory smoke, very distinctly I could hear the heavy hammer as it powerfully struck the anvil. Another sound I could clearly hear was the sound of rushing wind as it was being blown across the coals by the divine bellows. Each time the mighty hammer fell upon the red hot metal on the anvil the most beautiful brilliant burning sparks were sent flying forth. These white-hot flaming sparks were shooting out of the door into many different nations of the world. As these burning sparks fell into the nations they were ablaze, burning with the passion of the Spirit of God, each igniting wonderful fires of Holy Ghost revival and sparking soul winning revivals across the nations. This was amazing and thrilling. Nevertheless, within my heart was a deep driving desire to see what God was forging on His end-time anvil.

I pleaded saying, “Please! I want to get closer I must see what is being forged!” Something deep within in me was crying out for access. I had to see for myself what wonderful work was being fashioned and forged on the anvil of God. I was completely compelled to behold what was being used to create such revival fires in the nations.

In answer to my plea, I was brought even closer to the anvil. With each approaching step I could feel the heat as it increased. Such heat, as it radiated out, was the most extreme and intense heat, however, it was not unpleasant at all, it was enticing and alluring. Matter of fact, it was totally the opposite, it was comforting and compelling, it seemed as if the heat was drawing me closer and closer. I was looking into the cloud of smoke, however, this smoke was not the black choking kind, but rather it was gleaming and brilliant, it too was extremely pleasant. It was the Cloud of God’s Glory.

At last I was shown the hammer and anvil and what was being forged. It was a mighty HARVEST YOKE! . I was told, “This yoke is being forged by the Lord for the purpose of joining together the generations, “ZEAL” and “WISDOM.”

God said, “I am joining the Joshua generation – (zeal) with the Caleb generation – (wisdom).” The youth have extreme zeal and the older saints have wonderful wisdom. God is joining the generations (see Psalms 145:1-13). We will soon see this yoke being placed upon the shoulders of many who are now being prepared. They will be linked together as teams going into the ripe end-time harvest fields reaping souls for the Kingdom of God. The greatest reaping of souls is coming. Now is the time we can’t say let’s put it off, remember Jesus said don’t say wait four months. He said now is the time the harvest is ripe. We must set our heart upon the Lord so He can make us ready. We have come to the day spoken of in Psalm 110:3 In the day of God’s power the people will volunteer willingly.

STARTING POINTS

12790929_833220666787520_7938881102318086801_n (1)

Historically the body of Christ in Utah has tried to outwit and out maneuver a people who don’t believe what we believe. So, our starting points are everything. If you don’t believe in my starting point, then why would you believe in my ending? This is why the bible declares that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but rather, divinely formed and fashioned for the tearing down of strongholds.

So . . what are our weapons? It’s not a theological hammer used to declare that my truth is superior to yours. It’s not the holding up of the canonicity of our scriptures as absolute truth that will win the day. Remember, it’s our starting points that define what people believe. I have a book, they have a book. If they don’t believe in my starting point then they will not embrace my book.

What are the weapons of our warfare that will change our culture in Utah? What is it that will be the convincing proof that there is something different about us? I believe that two things should define who we are as Christians in this valley.

THE FIRST DIVINELY FORMED WEAPON IS LOVE: The message of Jesus to his disciples was simple, “Let me give you a new command: Love one another. In the same way I loved you, you love one another. This is how everyone will recognize that you are my disciples—when they see the love you have for each other.” (John 13:34-35 msg).

LOVE WINS AND LOVE ENDURES. Can we take a lesson from the writings of the apostle Paul when he declares in 1 Corinthians 13 that:
Love never gives up. Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have. Love doesn’t strut,
Doesn’t have a swelled head, Doesn’t force itself on others,
Isn’t always “me first,” Doesn’t fly off the handle,
Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,
Doesn’t revel when others grovel, Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
Puts up with anything, Trusts God always,
Always looks for the best, Never looks back,
But keeps going to the end.

SECONDLY WE MUST CARRY THE AUTHORITY AND DEMONSTRATION FOR SIGNS, WONDERS, AND MIRACLES.
Yes miraculous power and authority is a divinely formed weapon that is a convincing proof of God’s goodness!
In short. . .We owe the world around us an encounter with Jesus Christ. He was the one who declared that, “the person who trusts me will not only do what I’m doing but even greater things, because I, on my way to the Father, am giving you the same work to do that I’ve been doing. You can count on it” (John14:12-ff).

When he sent the disciples out He gave them this mandate, ”as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give” (Matt. 10:7-8) Yes, people need to see God’s love demonstrated! The writer of the book of Acts opens up the letter by declaring, “in the first volume of this book I wrote on everything that Jesus began to do and teach until the day he said good-bye to the apostles” (Acts 1:1). Jesus came to earth both teaching and doing. He wasn’t a savior who only came with a message. He came with what the Apostle Paul describes as, “not just wise or persuasive words, but with a clear demonstration of the Spirits power” (1 Cor. 2:4). Jesus Christ didn’t just tell us about the love of the Father, He demonstrated it by healing all who were sick and afflicted.

My greatest heartbeat for Utah is that we see the spirit of religion bow to the authority of love of Jesus Christ. I’m not angry or upset with any particular people group. Many so called evangelicals come into this valley eager to make a name for themselves in the beehive state for the Kingdom and only succeed in “kicking the beehive”. There message is one of condemnation and accusation, not of love and hope. The truth that must be not only declared but demonstrated is that, “it is the kindness and love of God that draws us to repentance” (Romans 2:4).

One day Jesus was confronted by the Pharisees as to what He was going to do with the women who was caught in the very act of adultery. His response was not what they were expecting or what they were looking for. They had her all sized up. She deserved to be stoned to death for her abhorrent behavior. But Jesus! I love Him! He simply digs a bit deeper by asking questions. Questions like: “Is there anyone here who is without sin? Let him cast the first stone.” Then questions like this to the women, Where have all of your accusers gone? Her response. ” Lord there is no one here left to accuse me.” And Jesus being rich in love and mercy simply says. “Neither do I accuse you. . . Go and sin no more.” Jesus could have exacted what the pharisees were after. He could have judged her and condemned her. But he chose love! Why? Because mercy triumphs over judgement, and where sin abounds, grace is much bigger! His heart was not to punish, but to restore! We need to love the world like He does. When He looked over the sinful condition of cities He didn’t have a desire in His heart to judge them. He literally wept over cities because in His words, “they were like sheep without a shepherd.” Can we as the body of Christ in Utah begin to look over our cites and do the same. I can promise you this, you will never change a people that you don’t love.
Remember what I said earlier, our starting points will determine how we finish. Jesus put it this way: “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matt. 5:16).

LOVE WINS!

Blessings,

Bob Hazlett – A Word Concerning The Mormon Church

BOB HAZLETT – “MORMON CHURCH IS COMING INTO REVIVAL”
MARCH 2, 2012 @ “PIERCING THE DARKNESS” PROPHETIC CONFERENCE IN REDDING, CA

Picture

God says don’t judge people by their outward appearance, I look upon the heart.  God says I’m doing something in the Mormon church, and I am bringing a revival to the Mormon church.  It is going to be a revival like the one that came out of California with the World Wide Church of God, It’s going to be just like that, where I am going to sweep the Mormon church into the Kingdom all at once.  So don’t you judge what you see by outward appearances. He said don’t judge them like that.  You know when the Hellenistic Greeks began to come into the church, the Jewish believers had problems with it, because they ate the wrong food, they dressed the wrong way.  Likewise when the Roman Christians became the prominent sect they had problems with the Jewish believers because they didn’t understand the feasts or their rituals.  But Paul finally rose up with wisdom in Romans chapter 14 where he instructed the church to not judge people when it comes to disputable matters.  Some people eat on this day, while others don’t eat on this day.  Some people celebrate this feast, while others don’t have this feast.  But if you eat meat, do it as unto the Lord, (Hallelujah, I’m in that crowd).  If you don’t eat meat, do it as unto the Lord, thats ok too.  But I am telling you, don’t judge when it comes to disputable matters.  And you know what, there are going to be people who you don’t think are Christians who are Christians. . . . .I want to tell you that God is no respecter of persons, not Jew nor Greek, nor slave or free, not male nor female. . . .

But I want to tell you something, I believe that God is bringing together a church that is raising up a generation of hope that is going to be from every tribe.  Because it wasn’t just one tribe that went into the land and got their inheritance, but it was every tribe.  Every tribe and they fought together for their inheritance because people of hope are not satisfied to get their inheritance alone, they fight to win an inheritance for the people around them.  Because when the people around them get their inheritance, I get my reward too.  That is what hope is!
